As you know, GreenBank. legally merged into Capital Bank, N.A., on September 7, 2011, creating a healthy, independent Southeastern bank with $7 billion in assets and 146 branches serving communities in Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Although the legal merger has occurred, there are several key dates and activities that will occur before the bank is fully part of Capital Bank.
Over the next few months, you will notice GreenBank will transition to the Capital Bank brand. The branch signs, website, documents, business cards, brochures, and advertisements will all say Capital Bank. Your current Capital Bank, N.A. debit card will still work and all checks and deposit tickets, account numbers, etc. will all also remain the same at this point. And although we’ll answer the phone “Capital Bank,” our same great staff will be here to help you!
Over Presidents’ Day Weekend - February 18-20, 2012 - the Bank will integrate our products, services, computer systems, policies and procedures into Capital Bank. Our dedicated team has been diligently working and planning for months to ensure the conversion process is as simple and seamless to you as possible.
Beginning January 1 through February 18, you will receive information regarding your accounts, online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, etc. Please review the information and do not hesitate to visit your local branch or contact our call center at 1-800-639-5111 for answers to your questions.
